THIRD AMITY COMPETITION ON LAW REFORMS
Theme: SPORTS LAWS
Respected Sir/Madam,
Competition on law reforms as an innovative mode of clinical legal education can effectively expose law students not only to the gaps and inadequacies in existing laws but also enable them to grasp the different over-lapping statutes and constitutional provisions. This would also stimulate their inventive capacity to come up with new concepts worthy of legislative introduction.
It gives us immense pleasure to invite your prestigious institution to participate in the Third Amity Competition on Law Reforms. The event is scheduled to be held from 22nd January to 24th January, 2014. The event will be organized at the Amity Law School, I-2 Block, Amity University, Sector-125, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The issue for the competition is based on reforms in the field of Sports Laws. The meet would test the students on their awareness regarding Sports Laws and their ability to frame an exhaustive code to govern the same. It is a unique concept wherein students exercise their skills in framing a proper Bill along with Statement of Object and Reasons.
Each law school is invited to nominate a team of three students of law-graduate programme to participate in the competition. Accommodation shall be provided to only to the members of outstation teams.

The team details should be submitted in the prescribed registration form along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 3000/- per team drawn in favour of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh payable at Noida latest by 20th December, 2013. Participation will be on first come first served basis.
