AMITY COMPETITION ON LAW REFORMS
(ACLR-III)

General Rules of the Competition

1. Teams from Law Graduate Programme (3 & 5 Years both) shall be registered in the name of the Institution latest by 20th December, 2013 through e-mail. The names of the three members of the participating team must be indicated in the registration form. Scanned copy of the Demand Draft should be attached with the same mail.

2. The participating teams who have confirmed their participation and paid the amount of Rs. 3000/- shall send the hard copies of their Demand Draft and the Registration Forms latest by 30th December, 2013.

3. After receiving the Online Registration Forms, each participating team will be given a
Unique Team Number.

4. Presentation of the Proposal

a) The proposal shall be presented in the form of a Report in not more than 50 pages.

b) The Report shall be printed on A4 size white paper with font size 12, Times New Roman style with 1.5 line spacing, top and bottom margin of 1.5.

c) Each team is required to submit a soft copy of their Report through mail to alsn.aclr@gmail.com latest by 3rd January, 2014 by midnight. Further, three hard copies of their Report shall be sent to Amity Law School, I-2 Block, Amity University, Sector 125, Noida-201301, U.P. on or before 10th January, 2014. Each participant shall provide two passport size photographs along with their hard copy of the Report. Do not paste or attest the photographs anywhere.

d) The front page should contain the title of the Report and Unique Team Number which will be allotted to each participating team in advance.

e) The Report should be spiral bound, with a plain transparent plastic sheet in the front and back of report.

f) Foot-notes and citations shall be in accordance with citation format of the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.

g) The official language of the draft shall be English.

5. For explaining the proposal, maximum of 30 minutes will be given to each team. This would include presentation of the Report and answer to the questions by the jury.

6. Dress Code
All the participants have to wear formal black and white outfit.

7. Prizes
  • There will be Prizes (Trophies, Certificates and Cash) for the first two winning teams.
  • Participation Certificates will be awarded to all participants.
  • The Best team will be adjudged based on the Written Report and Oral Presentation.


8. Accommodation
  • Accommodation will be limited to participants from outside Delhi/NCR from January 21, 2014 (12 noon) to January 25, 2014 (12 noon). All expenses for teams from Delhi/NCR and outside Delhi have to be met by the participating team/Institution.
  • Teams requiring accommodation shall inform Amity Law School by 20th December, 2014 along with their registrations forms.
